General purpose timer designed for our Blindtronics system but also ideal for other home automation tasks.

The intelli-blinds timer is a 10 event 12 month calendar timer that allows an installer to program events that trigger an ASCII string to be output from the timer's RS232 port in addition to switching 8 relay outputs. Allowing timer control over any home automation device that has RS232 input or has switched inputs.

Eight programmable events (events 0-7) can each be assigned one of 8 event types and each has an associated 32 byte string that is output to the serial port and it's corresponding relay output activated when the event is triggered. The string can be any of the 255 available ASCII characters (including control characters) from #01 through #FF terminated with #00. The timer also has one dedicated event for a minute timer and one dedicated event for an hour timer (events 8 & 9) both programmable between 1 and 255 that will transmit their own programmable ASCII string to the serial port.

For complete install-and-forget operation, the timer will automatically adjust for leap years and daylight saving time (Summertime & Wintertime) according to UK Daylight Saving rules. 

External controls can be limited to an enable/disable button for the end-user. Additional programming modes can be hidden for engineer only access.

We welcome OEM and trade enquiries, the module can be re-branded and DST rules changed for other regions.
