can supply complete electric curtains & blinds of all types, either supply-only, or with a total survey & fitting service nationwide. This includes
liaison with your System Installer for complete system warranty. Whilst we have our own ranges of specialist textiles, we undertake make-up of customers own fabric or the purchase of textiles to a customer specification. We also supply & fit non-electric systems with a consumer-friendly chain control clutch mechanism.
Electric Blinds for Existing Home Automation
Systems
Blinds supplied for connection to existing
home automation systems (Crestron, Lutron, AMX, Luxom, EIB Konnex etc) will be supplied as a complete electric blind
track with motor wires to allow connection directly to the motor
actuators available for the system you might be using.
Generally our
blinds use 24v DC motors, however some of the larger blinds might require
240v AC mains motors and will require a mains motor controller. The
controls required for 24v DC should be changeover relay, so the polarity
of the output is reversed to change the direction of the blind. For 240v
AC mains a standard 240v motor control will work, these can be identified
by having 4 output lines: Neutral, Earth, Live (forward direction) &
Live (reverse direction).
If your planning an installation and would
like to use the native motor controls from your automation system you must
ensure both types of control are available and they have sufficient programmability
to perform your tasks. If this is not the case we have Blindtronics,
which is our own dedicated blind/curtain control system which can usually
be interfaced with other automation systems.
Blindtronics
Blindtronics is intelli-blinds' own
automation system, it allows each blind to have a huge array of
programmable options allowing the Blindtronics modules to be networked
together into an intelligent network. This network allows blinds to be
controlled from IR, RF handsets, wall switches, programmable touch pads,
wind & sun sensors, LCD touch panels, contact-closure outputs, IP and
RS232 interfaces. We also have an RS232 timer module that can provide upto
10 programmable events.
This means you have the option to have a system that is
as basic as a one blind with one infra red remote to having a whole house
of blinds controlled by any or all of the above methods! - Read
